At Alcon, we are driven by our purpose to help people see brilliantly. As a Supply Chain Systems & Inventory Coordinator, you will support the execution of inventory control, SAP system activities, and operational data integrity across the Service Supply Chain.

This role partners closely with Warehouse Operations, Planning, Finance, and IT to ensure accurate system transactions, timely issue identification, and compliant documentation practices. This is an onsite role based at our Lake Forest Distribution Center.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Inventory Control & Execution Support

  • Generate and support cycle-count activities and AFCM controls for inventory reconciliation processes
  • Identify and document inventory discrepancies, exceptions, and adjustment requests
  • Assist in investigation preparation by gathering movement history and supporting data
  • Monitor inventory transactions and escalate irregularities for review

SAP System Support & Issue Coordination

  • Execute SAP reporting and data review to support operational accuracy and visibility
  • Submit and track SAP system issues and incident tickets
  • Support data and GRC roles validation for SOD compliance
  • Ensure accurate transaction execution within assigned system access limits.

Documentation & Compliance Support

  • Maintain complete, accurate documentation for inventory adjustments and exceptions
  • Support audit readiness by ensuring proper evidence retention and traceability
  • Prepare data and reports required for compliance reviews and internal controls

CrossFunctional Coordination

  • Partner with Warehouse, Planning, and Finance teams to resolve operational issues
  • Communicate status of discrepancies, system issues, and required followups
  • Escalate highrisk issues, access concerns, or unresolved discrepancies to leadership

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs.
  • Assoc.+4 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Preferredrequirements:

  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain execution
  • Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Understanding of inventory processes, cycle counts, and discrepancy management

  • Process discipline and compliance mindset
  • Analytical thinking and problem identification
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
