Job Title:         Material Coordinator

Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location:         Davenport, IA 52809
Duration:          01 Year 05 Months
Shift:                Monday–Friday (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 40–50 hrs/week including weekends/OT)

Job Summary

Material Coordinator II is responsible for coordinating material flow, inventory accuracy, production scheduling, and shortage resolution across multiple departments within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses heavily on inventory analysis, root cause investigation, and maintaining uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate material procurement, production, and delivery activities
• Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Perform root cause analysis for inventory shortages
• Support production scheduling using Master Schedule data
• Process inbound and outbound material transactions
• Audit material replenishment cycles and inventory accuracy
• Expedite critical parts to avoid production interruptions
• Coordinate rejected material movement back to source
• Support engineering release and change management processes
• Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve inventory issues
