Role Overview
Hera Technologies is seeking a hands-on, analytical Inventory Control Lead to own and drive inventory accuracy, visibility, and process improvement across the organization. This role will lead cycle count programs, oversee SKU management (including complex sub-assemblies), and ensure inventory processes support production efficiency and on-time delivery.
The ideal candidate brings strong warehouse and ERP/WMS experience (JobBoss, Epicor, Oracle, etc. highly preferred), thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to solve problems cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain inventory accuracy across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Lead and enforce a structured cycle count program, ensuring compliance, consistency, and accuracy
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage and maintain SKU structure, including high-volume and complex sub-assembly inventory
  • Ensure proper material identification, traceability, and organization in compliance with AS9100 standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control processes, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Utilize ERP/WMS systems (JobBoss, Epicor, etc. preferred) to manage transactions, reporting, and inventory integrity
  • Develop, track, and report on KPIs such as inventory accuracy, cycle count compliance, WIP control, and material availability
  • Partner closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on material flow and priorities
  • Support and guide inventory and warehouse personnel; lead by example in day-to-day operations
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, issuing, and material handling activities as needed
  • Ensure warehouse organization, 5S standards, and efficient material flow throughout the facility

Required Qualifications
  • Associates degree minimum, Bachelors degree preferred
  • 4-7+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or material management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience leading inventory processes such as cycle counting, audits, and reconciliation
  • Strong ERP experience required; JobBoss, Epicor, Oracle, etc. experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with WMS modules and inventory transaction workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage large volumes of SKUs with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across departments
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and supporting daily warehouse operations

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace & defense manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards and traceability requirements
  • Professional certifications such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or other inventory/warehouse management certifications
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kanban, FIFO, continuous improvement)
  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills (pivot tables, reporting, KPI tracking)
  • Experience implementing or improving inventory control processes in a scaling or high-growth environment

$70,000 - $85,000 a year
Type: Full Time, Exempt
Business Hours: Core hours, M-F with willingness for overtime availability
Base Salary Range: $70k-85k
Base Location: Ontario, CA

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Total compensation will also include a comprehensive set of benefits including but not limited to: Company paid employee medical, dental and vision insurance. Retirement plan participation (eligibility required), paid sick leave, paid vacation, paid holidays and discretionary bonuses.
