Title: Equipment Automation Developer role
Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA (they'll want candidates who already live in the bay area (so within driving distance) of Santa Clara, CA
Duration 6mo Contract to hire
Interview: Not sure they didn't say...most clients do a video but they don't say ahead so not a way to know but that's the other reason to send locals. Again will likely be a video but we can't instruct the client they decide what they will do so candidate has to be prepared for anything
Need to have: Its an Equipment Automation (EA) Engineer so Applied is a Semi Conductor client so this is supporting Equipment Automation (EA) Solutions to help set up an Offshore model in APAC. Need experience either in Solar or Display or PCB manufacturing as an Equipment Automation Developer. Familiar with SECS/GEM protocol and SEMI Automatic standards. Solid experience with MES, Recipe Management (RMS) and Advanced Process Control (APC). Also proficiency using C# .Net and SQL.

Key Responsibilities
Seeking an Equipment Automation Engineer, onsite in Santa Clara, CA.
Implement Equipment Automation (EA) solution, integrated with other key factory and business systems, for our customers. Support EA solution and help set up an offshore support model in APAC. Guide the team to navigate issues and partner with teams beyond EA including MES and Tool software teams. Coordinate with customer's systems administration and IT teams on deploying, configuring, developing and deploying EA solutions. Present technical information to customers including technical contributors and managers. Create, evolve, and implement EA application training and/or demonstrations. Knowledge base contribution/management. Deep engagement with internal customers and end users. Improve operations through continuous improvement standards such as: 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5-Whys.
Key Skills and Experience:
Experience working in semiconductor or Solar or Display or PCB manufacturing as equipment automation developer is required
Familiar with SECS/GEM protocol and SEMI automation standards
Experience working with other factory automation and business systems such as MES, Recipe Management (RMS), and Advanced Process Control (APC)
Working proficiency using visual studio, C#, .Net, databases and use of SQL
Other Functional Knowledge
Software expertise - familiarity working with enterprise automation software running on Windows or Unix platforms with Oracle database
Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
