Are you a compassionate CNA looking to grow in a meaningful, mission-based environment? At On With Life, we specialize in rehabilitative care for individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries - and we're looking for dedicated caregivers to join our award-winning team. Grow your career in a mission-driven environment by providing rehabilitative support to individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or neurological conditions. You'll gain hands-on experience in neuro-rehabilitation care--ideal for CNA's with long-term growth in mind.

  • Environment: Skilled Long-Term Care     
    • Location: Polk City, Iowa
    • Hours: 6:00PM-6:30AM or 6:00AM-6:30PM (3 shifts/week) rotating holidays & every 3rd weekend required
    • Nurses 1:10 ratio all shifts, CNAS 1:5 Days & 1:10 nights 

IMPORTANT: Please note that our orientation process (typically up to 1 month) may require working days or shifts outside of what will be your permanent schedule. 

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
  • Provide direct, personalized care under licensed nurse supervision.
  • Support persons served with activities of daily living (meals, hygiene, socializing).
  • Assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifts.
  • Perform range of motion exercises as directed by therapy staff.
  • Complete and report safety checks and vital information to nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with a transdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Help persons served achieve their highest quality of life.
