Job description

The CENTROL Precision Ag Operationsย Specialist will work closely with CENTROL Operations Lead to coordinate parts, repairs and logistics for CENTROL Precision Ag Operations. Duties will include but not limited to the installation of precision ag equipment and troubleshooting/assisting in with in field service calls. The CENTROL Operations specialist will require a high attention to detail in fast pace, changing environment. This position will require knowledge of precision agricultural equipment, agricultural implements, inventory management, including work in process inventory.

Project Management
  • Promote and develop strong communications with all of KEY Cooperative's divisions, location managers, salespersons and all customers, which enhance company performance and teamwork.
  • Works with customers in developing precision ag and data plans that help the customer achieve higher yields through planter efficiency and overall data analysis.
  • Insure shop work areas are orderly and safe, and worked performed is completed with proper tools, procedures, and PPE to keep employees and themselves safe.
  • Haul and deliver equipment to and from the shop using a semi and trailer.
  • Communicate with location manager with personnel needs for equipment installations.
  • Oversee and guide Key Cooperative staff with equipment installations.
  • Assist with in-season service calls in the field.
Inventory & Billing
  • Assist in receiving inventory from freight companies and organize.
  • Filling orders placed by CENTROL Precision Ag Specialists.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory. Setup stock alerts and minimum quantities, transfer parts between locations, perform stock audits.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics to get customer orders to the point of use.
  • Facilitate returns to vendors and RMA process.
  • Assist in conducting timely and accurate monthly inventory counts and reconciliation.
General Responsibilities
  • Read and follow company employee policies.
  • Supports the Vision, Mission, and Values of Key Cooperative.
  • Adheres to Key Cooperative pricing and policies and credit terms.
  • Accepts all other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Centrol Precision Ag Manager
Education and/or Experience:ย High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Drivers License,ย  Class A CDL with tractor trailer endorsement.
