Job description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Process Analyst to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will analyze the current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive the implementation of solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and operational consistency.
The Process Analyst will work closely with Operations, Facilities and Maintenance, IT, Customer Service and other cross functional teams to collect data, document processes, and support improvement initiatives aligned with distribution center goals.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis
  • Own end-to-end process analysis for distribution center processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and variability.
  • Analyze current state performance using process mapping, time studies, and on floor observations to understand current state operations.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather data, operational feedback, and process insights.

Process Improvement Initiatives
  • Lead assigned process improvement initiatives from concept through implementation and stabilization.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement concepts to reduce waste and improve cycle time and productivity.
  • Own pilot design, execution and validation including post implementation monitoring of improvements.

Data Analysis & Performance Metrics
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data related to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, and throughput.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual summaries for operational reviews.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for performance gaps and operational issues and recommend corrective actions.

Technology & Systems Support
  • Evaluate process impacts of new systems, tools, or automation initiatives.
  • Work with IT and Operations teams for testing, rollout, and stabilization of process or system changes.
  • Document system-related process changes and user impacts.

Documentation & Training
  • Develop, maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), standard work, and process documentation.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with operational execution.
  • Own change communication related to process updates and documentation revisions.
  • Ensure alignment between documented processes, system configuration, and operational execution.

Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all process designs and changes comply with safety, regulatory and operational standards.
  • Identify operational and ergonomic risks related to process or layout changes and partner with Safety teams to mitigate them.
  • Own risk assessment inputs for assigned process changes.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in process analysis, industrial engineering, continuous improvement, or operations.
  • Foundational understanding of Lean / Continuous Improvement concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; exposure to data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with process mapping and basic time motion studies preferred.
  • Knowledge in distribution center operations such as picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Experience with distribution center operations and automation is a plus.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and warehouse environments.
