Legal Assistant, Estate Planning | Established Regional Law Firm
LHH is assisting a respected regional law firm in its search for a Legal Assistant, Estate Planning to support its growing estate planning and trust administration practice. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and paralegals on sophisticated estate planning matters while serving as a key resource for clients throughout the legal process.
The Role
The Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive support to multiple attorneys and assist with a broad range of estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters, including:
  • Drafting and revising estate planning documents and forms
  • Preparing probate, guardianship, and trust administration filings
  • Managing attorney calendars, appointments, and deadlines
  • Communicating regularly with clients via phone, email, and in person
  • Coordinating court filings and correspondence with court personnel
  • Assisting with legal research and information gathering for ongoing matters
  • Supporting hearing, mediation, and trial preparation
  • Recording deeds and maintaining organized client files and records
  • Handling general administrative and clerical responsibilities as needed

Compensation
Base Compensation:
$23.00 - $43.00 per hour

Candidate Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting estate planning and post-death trust administration matters
  • Probate court filing experience
  • Strong legal research, organizational, and document management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and legal case management systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Notary Public designation preferred
