About the Role

Staffing Care Pro is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership experience to join our growing Home Health agency as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This role is perfect for an RN who wants to make a meaningful impact beyond bedside care, shaping clinical excellence across a skilled nursing and therapy team. You'll support the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing operations, mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting high-quality, patient-centered care.

As the ADON, you'll enjoy autonomy, opportunities for career growth, and the ability to influence care delivery and team performance across our home health services. This position blends clinical oversight, leadership, and occasional field support to ensure patients receive the best possible care in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the DON in managing day-to-day clinical operations across skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology

  • Supervise, mentor, and coach field RNs, LPNs, and therapists, providing guidance on clinical best practices, onboarding, and ongoing performance evaluations

  • Conduct home visits as needed for supervision, quality checks, or escalation of patient care needs

  • Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance across all services, including Medicare, Medicaid, and OASIS standards

  • Participate in audits, chart reviews, plan-of-care development, and interdisciplinary case conferences

  • Serve as a clinical resource to staff and referral partners, promoting evidence-based, patient-centered care

  • Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and workflow improvements to optimize team performance

Qualifications
  • Active Indiana RN license

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in home health, skilled nursing, or a related setting

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, OASIS documentation, and home health regulations

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills

  • Comfortable making independent clinical and operational decisions

Why Join Us
  • Supportive, mission-driven leadership team

  • Opportunities for advancement into DON or executive-level roles

  • Flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance

  • Company phone, mileage reimbursement, and professional development support

  • Make a meaningful impact on patient care in your community
