Job description

Job Purpose:
Provide medical services and education to patients of Aspire Women's Clinic based on the FOCUS method, supporting at-risk women in a pro-life setting.
Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Pregnancy and STD Screening: Perform urine pregnancy screenings and STD screenings as needed.
  • Treatment: Administer STD treatment medications according to clinic protocol.
  • Patient Education: Conduct health history assessments and provide education on unplanned pregnancy options.
  • Documentation: Conclude appointments with personalized assessments, education materials, pregnancy verification (if applicable), and refer at-risk patients to relevant resources.
  • Risk Assessment: Determine appropriate follow-up care based on the patient's risk assessment.
  • Abortion Pill Reversal: Provide abortion pill reversal medication therapy according to protocol.
  • Ultrasound: Perform limited ultrasound procedures.
  • Charting: Use the Ekyros system for patient charting and auditing.
  • Advocacy: Patient intake and counseling.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Nurse Manager.

Community Responsibilities:
  • Attend Walk for Life community fundraiser.
  • Participate in the annual Christmas celebration.

Other Responsibilities:
  • Attend mandatory medical staff meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Maintain Florida Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong Christian faith (devotion to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior).
  • Commitment to serving and supporting at-risk women in alignment with a pro-life mission.
  • Bilingual preferred, English and Spanish speaking.
