Job description

Loan Servicer
As a Loan Servicer, you're the steady hand that keeps member loans running smoothly long after the ink dries. From payment processing to escrow management, you'll be the go-to for accuracy, answers, and accountability. Think of it as a mix of detective work, organization wizardry, and top-tier member service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Processing and applying member loan payments accurately and on time
  • Monitoring loan accounts for errors, missed payments, or red flags
  • Managing escrow accounts — taxes, insurance, and all the exciting stuff in between
  • Verifying insurance coverage on secured loans (you know the drill)
  • Updating loan info and handling account corrections with precision
  • Answering member questions about balances, due dates, payoff info, and more
  • Generating statements and supporting loan audits and documentation requests
  • Handling Freddie Mac loan sales and reporting like a pro
  • Supporting construction loans, insurance claims, variable rate changes, and final title policies
  • Maintaining up-to-date loan records and following all applicable regulations

What You Bring:

  • 1–3 years of experience in loan servicing or a related role
  • High school diploma or GED (bonus points for continuing education!)
  • Detail-oriented mindset — if something’s off, you catch it
  • Strong communication and member service skills
  • Ability to juggle tasks without dropping the ball (or your cool)
  • Comfort with loan systems, spreadsheets, and digital documentation
  • A team player attitude with the ability to work independently, too

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But We’d Be Impressed):

  • Familiarity with Freddie Mac processes
  • Experience managing real estate loan files
  • An unnatural love for paperwork, policies, and process improvement

Why You'll Love It Here:
We’re not just a credit union, we’re a member-first, mission-driven team that takes pride in doing things right. If you enjoy keeping things in order, helping people navigate their loans, and being part of a collaborative, upbeat workplace, this could be your next great move.
