Job description

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in north L.A. County, recently graded 'A' for patient safety by Leapfrog Group, provides high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. The hospital is assisting a vascular surgical private  practice to recruit a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon  to join the group. The position will be  based in the group's Antelope Valley office and will include providing surgical services at Palmdale Regional.   

A certified STEMI Receiving Center, Palmdale Regional Medical Center has received two American Heart Association® Achievement Awards for implementing quality improvement measures for efficient and coordinated care.  PRMC offers surgical services in vascular, general, orthopedics, spine, neuro, and ENT, and offers a wound care center with hyperbaric medicine.

  • Weekend call: group covers ED call at 3 hospitals in the San Fernando Valley
  • Palmdale Regional Medical Center: 184-bed hospital with 234 beds at build-out
  • Hospital has 2 cath labs recently remodeled with advanced technologies
  • BC/BE required
  • Active California medical license
  • Group provides income support first 2 years and benefits
  • Group offers partnership and buy-in to surgery center
  • First year compensation $320,000-350,000 + incentives

Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region of Palmdale, the Antelope and Santa Clarita valleys, and outlying desert communities, an area of a half-million people.
