Job Description

Residential Security Agent

Location: Denver
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $45.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a highly professional Residential Security Agent to join our protective operations team. This role is embedded with a private client and is responsible for ensuring the life safety of the principal(s) while protecting residential property and assets. Our mission is to keep our clients safe, happy, and productive through exceptional service, vigilance, and professionalism.

The ideal candidate is experienced in executive protection, residential security, law enforcement, military service, or private security and thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide residential security and protective services for principals, family members, and guests.
  • Maintain constant situational awareness and monitor all activity around assigned properties.
  • Report suspicious activity and document observations, incidents, and security concerns.
  • Implement access control procedures, visitor management, escort procedures, and maintain entry logs.
  • Monitor security systems, surveillance cameras, alarms, and early-warning detection systems.
  • Conduct routine risk, threat, and vulnerability assessments and recommend security improvements.
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports, including photographs and witness statements.
  • Assist with select property management and scheduling responsibilities to enhance client privacy and convenience.
  • Operate security vehicles and equipment safely while performing regular equipment inspections.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and company information.
  • Communicate effectively with principals, team members, and stakeholders using radios, mobile devices, and computers.
  • Participate in required annual training and maintain operational readiness.
  • Work collaboratively with team members while demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and excellent customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in private security, law enforcement, military service, or related protective operations.
  • Current CPR/AED certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. passport for international travel.
  • Must have an Unarmed Guard license with plain clothes endorsement from the City and County of Denver.
  • Ability to obtain any required state security licenses or permits within 30 days of employment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with any of the following experience or certifications are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • Executive Protection or Close Protection training
  • Residential Security training
  • Law Enforcement SWAT, SRT, or Task Force experience
  • Military Special Operations experience

This position requires flexibility and the ability to work an irregular schedule, including:
