What is private sector healthcare?

Private sector healthcare refers to medical services and facilities that are owned and operated by individuals, companies, or organizations rather than the government. Patients typically pay for these services directly, through insurance, or employer-sponsored plans. Private sector healthcare is often associated with faster access to care, more personalized service, and advanced facilities, but it may be more expensive compared to public healthcare options.

  • Build, develop, and maintain close client relationships as the primary point of contact, while coordinating presentations and pitches that lead to new mandates.

  • Provide direction and leadership to deal teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and strong execution support. Oversee client marketing, transaction origination, and execution, taking the lead where appropriate.
    • Identify and monitor industry developments / opportunities across the Americas Pharma & Healthcare sector. Continuously deepen knowledge of the industry, competitive landscape, product capabilities, and macroeconomic trends, and contribute to ING strategic initiatives.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting both performance and professional development while fostering a strong performance culture.
