As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health conditions to inform personalized treatment planning.
• Providing individual therapy sessions utilizing established therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness strategies.
• Collaborating with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals, regularly evaluating their progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Facilitating teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual appointments, ensuring accessibility and comfort.
• Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and compliance with ethical standards and regulations.

You will serve a diverse client population facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds and age groups, allowing you to apply your skills in a wide range of therapeutic contexts.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license from the state of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster a safe and trustworthy therapist-client relationship.
• A compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards diverse client experiences and challenges.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience in providing teletherapy or virtual counseling services.
• A background in working with a wide variety of mental health conditions, particularly anxiety and trauma.
• Successfully contributed to interdisciplinary teams or community health initiatives.
