Position Overview

The Publisher is responsible for the overall strategic direction and commercial success of GZERO Media and reports directly to the CEO. This role will work closely with GZERO’s leadership team and a range of executives across Eurasia Group, all with the goal of continuing GZERO Media's growth. The ideal candidate will have at least baseline knowledge of both the latest opportunities on social media (vertical video, podcasts, and editorially anchored communities) and traditional media (TV, newsletters, and web).

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for general management of the GZERO Media business, including sales, product & tech, strategy, and operations.

  • Bring a consistent sense of urgency, immediacy, and real-time problem-solving to the work.

  • Represent the Company with key clients, prospects, vendors, and business partners as appropriate.

  • As an active member of EG’s leadership team run the GZERO team, including serving as the responsible executive for standard organizational processes such as team promotions.

  • Collaborate with a range of Eurasia Group teams, including Events, Corporates, Global Markets, Communications, CEO Operations, and the Office of the President, ensuring both unified general go-to-market and effective specific client engagements.

  • Monitor emerging trends across the media industry and within GZERO’s evolving landscape, evaluating new tools, platforms, and distribution models.

  • Lead strategic decision‑making that expands our audience reach and strengthens our position in the broader content ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, master’s degree preferred

  • 15+ years of experience as a successful media or business leader

  • A data-driven mindset

  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and a continuous improvement orientation

  • Practical and working knowledge of digital technology as well as modern social media best practices

The applicable base salary range for this role is $275,000 to $350,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
