Job description

Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard and The Grange Estate are renowned for offering luxury experiences in the heart of Oregon wine country. With breathtaking venues and exceptional hospitality, we specialize in hosting private events, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, creating unforgettable moments for our guests.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate On-Call, Part-Time Servers & Bartenders to join our event team. This role is vital in delivering impeccable service during private events while gaining exposure to our broader hospitality program.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding service to guests during private events at The Black Walnut Inn and The Grange Estate.
  • Serve food and beverages with precision, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
  • Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and ready for service.
  • Communicate effectively with the culinary and event teams to deliver seamless service.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a server or bartender in an upscale event or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
  • Must have OLCC and Food Handler's card.
  • Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a luxury environment.
  • Familiarity with wine service and cocktails is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
