Event Server

  • Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Servers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be friendly, professional, and capable of providing exceptional service during a variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up event spaces according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations

Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner

Assist with the setup and breakdown of buffet stations, food displays, and beverage stations

Ensure all guests receive prompt and attentive service

Clear plates, glassware, and utensils from tables throughout the event

Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests and inquiries

Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of event spaces

Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of food and beverages

Handle cash and card transactions accurately when required

Collaborate with event coordinators and other staff to ensure seamless event execution

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a server, preferably in an event or banquet setting

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods

Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor

Must be 18 years of age

General Physical Demands for the Position:

Servers will regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, walk, and carry and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
