St. Louis Country Club Banquet/Event Server
As a Banquet/Events Server at St. Louis Country Club, you will be expected to provide high quality, personalized service in a private member only club. Banquet/Events servers will focus
on detailed menu knowledge, wine service, and anticipating member’s needs. Our servers will be expected to maintain a polished professional demeanor, provide exceptional dining experience and adhere to the Club’s service standards.
Qualifications:
⮚ Previous experience in food and beverage. (Required)
⮚ Previous country club experience. (Preferred)
⮚ Knowledge of POS Systems. (Preferred)
⮚ Strong communications skills.
⮚ Ability to work well as a team.
⮚ Maintains and creates a positive workplace culture.
⮚ Must be able to remain flexible in a changing environment.
⮚ Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. (Required)
⮚ Ability to stand for long periods of time and comfortability with lifting items up to 40 pounds. (Required)
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
⮚ Memorization of menus, ingredients, and preparation of food and beverage items.
⮚ Greeting members in a timely fashion and by name.
⮚ Establishing a welcoming and positive attitude in a professional setting.
⮚ Provide exceptional hospitality, by handling members’ needs, special requests, and resolving any issues with professionalism.
⮚ Follow service operating procedures on presenting, opening, pouring, and maintaining wine service.
⮚ Providing cocktails and hor’ds to guests with ease and proper etiquette.
⮚ You will be expected to set up buffets and beverage stations in accordance with our service operating procedures.
⮚ Application and delivery of synchronized service.
⮚ Strong attention to detail and openness to adapt to change quickly while maintaining a positive attitude.
⮚ Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked service area.
⮚ Build rapport with members and guests to ensure world class service.
⮚ Perform and complete other duties as requested by supervisors.
