About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships.

Private Equity Mentors are a senior tier within the ecosystemโ€”focused on developing investment talent, reinforcing private equity best practices, and providing experienced guidance across live transactions and portfolio initiatives.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Equity Mentors to support analysts, deal scouts, fund teams, and sponsors through structured mentorship and transaction-level guidance.

This is not a traditional employment role. Mentors operate as independent contractors and are activated through a selective verification and approval process.

Once approved, Private Equity Mentors may:

Mentor analysts and deal scouts on private equity standards and execution

Guide deal teams through diligence, structuring, and IC preparation

Provide practical insight on fund operations and portfolio value creation

Support sponsors and managers with senior-level perspective on transactions

Access curated deal flow, advisory engagements, and earning opportunities

Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced private equity professionals who want to leverage their transaction experience to develop talent while remaining close to real deals.

What Youโ€™ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Private Equity Mentors may:

Coach analysts and deal scouts on financial modeling, diligence workflows, and investment memos

Review and provide feedback on deal materials, IC decks, and underwriting assumptions

Advise fund managers and sponsors on transaction strategy and execution readiness

Provide portfolio-level guidance focused on value creation and operational discipline

Share best practices around LP expectations, reporting, and governance

Participate in curated working sessions or introductions tied to live deal activity

Mentors focus on education, judgment, and execution oversight rather than day-to-day modeling or administrative work, unless specifically approved.

Eligible Mentorship & Advisory Areas

Private equity investment process and underwriting standards

Financial modeling review and diligence methodology

Deal structuring and investment committee preparation

Portfolio company oversight and value creation planning

Fund operations, LP communications, and reporting discipline

Career development and technical training for analysts and scouts

Approval is based on depth of private equity experience, deal exposure, and demonstrated ability to mentor on live transactions.

Compensation & Deal Economics

Hourly mentorship or advisory rates: $200โ€“$500, based on experience and scope

Transaction-based incentives for mentorship or advisory contributions tied to closed deals

Payments issued after completion of approved mentorship milestones or deal closings

No cap on earning potential for sustained, high-impact mentorship

How Mentors Get Activated

Submit a Private Equity Mentor application with professional background and deal history

Complete verification and mentorship category approval

Receive visibility and promotion within the Initio Sphere platform

Begin mentoring analysts, scouts, funds, or sponsors on approved engagements

This structure ensures credibility, quality control, and access to real, high-signal opportunities.

Compliance Notice

Provide investment advice to the public

Solicit securities

Market investments outside approved Initio Sphere channels

Act on behalf of Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All mentorship and advisory activity must comply with applicable securities laws and remain focused on education, guidance, and transaction support.

Who This Role Is For

Former or current PE, growth equity, or credit professionals

Ex-investment bankers or fund professionals with transaction experience

Senior operators or investors with hands-on deal execution backgrounds

Professionals who enjoy developing talent while staying close to live deals

Why Join Initio Sphere

Work directly with analysts, funds, and sponsors on real private equity transactions

Monetize experience through mentorship without full-time commitments

Strengthen personal brand and credibility within a private capital ecosystem

Shape the next generation of private equity professionals

One platform for mentorship, deal exposure, and professional growth
