Job description

Overview

A family office located in the Delray Beach area of Florida has a need for a full-time Assistant General Counsel (In-House Attorney) to handle legal matters in a wide range of areas, including venture capital investment, general corporate and contract matters.

Applicants should have between three and eight years of law firm and/or in-house experience performing corporate and transactional work, including drafting documents for, and performing legal due diligence with regard to, venture capital financings and/or private equity investments. Experience with conducting legal deal diligence is a requirement. Thorough knowledge and understanding of proper corporate structuring and documentation is also a must. Experience using legal AI products is a plus.

Position Details

The Assistant General Counsel will report directly to the General Counsel but will work with both business personnel and accounting personnel on a regular basis.
