Janney Montgomery Scott LLC is seeking a Private Client Associate to provide client service and administrative support to The Gormley Furlong Wealth Advisory Group. This role supports client relationships, account administration, and internal coordination to help deliver a high-quality client experience in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
What you are good at:
Customer Service - Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely, professional, and courteous service; assist with account-related inquiries, account maintenance, transfers, and distributions while helping ensure a seamless client experience.
Communication - Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and follow-up; answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, assist with client meeting preparation, and help clients navigate online account access tools and firm resources.
Initiative - Proactively utilize available technology and tools to support efficient and effective workflow management; assist advisors with account administration, portfolio updates, planning preparation, and internal coordination; maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of client requests.
Building Relationships - Connect with others in a way that fosters trust and collaborative relationships; partner closely with advisors and team members to support business operations and client initiatives; anticipate potential issues and contribute to effective problem-solving in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, International Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Prior office, administrative, client service, or financial services experience preferred
  • Series 7, 63 and 65, or 66 preferred, or if unlicensed, ability to obtain licensing within twelve months from date of hire
  • Strong client service orientation with professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ACT)
  • Analytical and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work 5 days a week in person
