Job description

Job Title: Privacy Operations & Compliance Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a Privacy Operations & Compliance Analyst to join our growing compliance department. You will serve as the operational "control center" for our privacy program, specifically managing the intake, investigation, and fulfillment of global Data Subject Requests (DSRs). You will act as the primary point of contact for privacy-related inquiries, ensuring that our organization meets strict regulatory timelines while safeguarding sensitive information.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong legal-administrative background. You will bridge the gap between our internal business functions (HR, Legal, IT Security, Customer Operations) and our global regulatory obligations. If you are organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable navigating complex, privacy-focused workflows, this role offers the opportunity to help maintain our commitment to global data protection.
Key Responsibilities
Request Orchestration & Mailbox Management
• DSR Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end intake of data requests (e.g., access, deletion, portability). Communicate directly with requestors, ensuring transparency and professional handling of every inquiry.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments-including HR, Legal, IT Security, and Customer Operations-to gather necessary documentation and verify information.
• Compliance Execution: Review and redact documentation based on internal standards, ensuring all responses meet both regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Tracking & Deadlines: Monitor project timelines meticulously to ensure 100% compliance with statutory response deadlines. Maintain accurate tracking logs in our internal systems.
Operational Support & Program Growth
• SOP Maintenance: Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), knowledge base templates, and training materials to improve the efficiency of our privacy operations.
• Compliance Research: Stay current on global privacy trends, legislative developments, and data protection best practices. Assist in analyzing how these changes may impact our global compliance program.
• Internal Liaison: Attend departmental meetings on behalf of the Privacy Team, identifying potential privacy-related issues early and fostering collaborative relationships with business stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in legal administration, compliance support, or a data-focused operational role.
• Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Teams).
• Critical Thinking: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy-you must be comfortable handling confidential data and executing precise, repeatable workflows.
• Communication: Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and maintain absolute confidentiality.
Preferred Attributes
• A functional understanding of global privacy and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or equivalent regulatory frameworks).
• Previous experience supporting privacy/data protection programs or working within a Law Department/Compliance function.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple work streams concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
