The Junior Business Analyst - Privacy Compliance Support is responsible for supporting the development, review, and analysis of privacy artifacts, policies and reports, supports privacy status updates and compliance reporting, and assists the Privacy team with system onboarding and privacy training activities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, proactive, and have a solid commitment to meeting critical project timelines, stressing the importance of compliance and the need for a strong understanding of these areas.
What You'll Do:
  • Draft, review, and analyze Privacy Threshold Analyses, (PTA) Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), and System or Records Notices (SORN)
  • Support the review, update, and development of privacy policies.
  • Exchange status updates, identify priorities, and discuss privacy concerns.
  • Assist in the conduct of Privacy Oversight Reviews.
  • Analyze and review new and emerging privacy issues, technologies, and programs to ensure appropriate privacy compliance documentation is in place to serve as risk management and accountability tools.
  • Support our training program requirements organizing and administering onboarding, training, creating training and support materials, and aiding current and new staff across the agency.
  • Assist in the development of privacy reports to Congress.

This is a hybrid position with on-site requirements in Arlington, VA.
What You've Done:
  • US Citizenship is Required
  • Associate's degree and 1 year of experience in an IT environment or 3 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 6 months of privacy-specific experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong grammar and writing skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship to get a DHS clearance
