What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and law enforcement personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned government facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional support when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of persons and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
  • Maintain required armed post qualifications, complete accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate security-related concerns to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
