Job description

Summary of Position: The Large Format Print Operator is primarily responsible for operation and maintenance of large format print equipment for a wide variety of projects.

Training: Prior graphic design, prepress or printing experience a must. Additional Training will be provided on the job.

Duties & Responsibilities:

ยท Daily set-up and operation of UV flatbeds or roll fed printers

ยท Ensure that all quality standards are met including color accuracy, client specification compliance, and image quality

ยท Keep media profiles up to date and accurate.

ยท Troubleshoot final print files prior to production

ยท RIP files for printing.

ยท Monitor jobs while printing.

ยท Clean substrates before printing if needed.

ยท Check inventory levels on substrates and inks.

ยท Perform basic equipment maintenance, and assist department manager in scheduling outside service calls as needed
