Responsibilities:

  • Work with hiring managers to develop recruiting plans based on future man loading. 
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Work with all Temporary labor providers and coordinate use of their services across all operating departments.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with Director of Recruiting to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Use social media and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees.
  • Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
  • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
  • Coordinate and implement college and high school recruiting initiatives.
  • Attending career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
  • Work with field management to project future manpower trends and needs for all levels and skills across the company.
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements and conduct necessary phone screens before sending the hiring managers.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicants and interview data in the Human Resources Information System.
  • Assist in writing and forwarding rejection letters.
  • Perform other special projects as assigned.
