Title I Teacher
(**Pursuant to WV Code §18A-4-8f, a vote
was held at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year for the new Mullens Elementary and Middle
School, which resulted in current professional employees being given priority when filling positions at
the new school. Priority to those currently employed at Mullens Elementary School and Mullens
Middle School will be given.)
Job Summary:
1. Direct instructional relationship with the students
2. Carry out the laws and policies of the state and county relating to
education, including the rules pertaining to the welfare of the student
3. Work closely with the principal in planning and implementing an
excellent learning experience for students in a classroom setting
4. Evaluate continuously the progress of students
5. Develop materials to be used with the Title I program
6. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
Qualifications:
1. A valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate and/or licensure in Elementary Education
2. Demonstrates qualifications further detailed in job description
