What is Priority Medical Transport?

Priority Medical Transport refers to specialized emergency or non-emergency medical transportation services that provide timely and safe transfers of patients between healthcare facilities, or from an incident location to a hospital. These services are equipped with advanced life support systems and staffed by trained medical personnel to ensure patients receive appropriate care during transit. Priority Medical Transport can include ambulances, air ambulances, or other specialized vehicles, and is often used when a patient's condition requires urgent attention or continuous medical monitoring.
