The process allows artists to create multiple originals of a single image, known as prints, each considered an original work of art. There are various printmaking techniques, including relief, intaglio, lithography, and screen printing, each offering unique possibilities for artistic expression. Printmakers often experiment with color, texture, and layering to achieve diverse effects in their work.
