Opportunity to join theย 2nd Shift [6am-2:30pm] Screen Printing Team as a Screen Printing Operator:ย 

We are looking for a unique individual to join our 2nd shift Screen Department. Potential candidates possess the following attributes:

As aย Screen Print Operator, you will be responsible for following all SOP's and procedures involved with screen printing such as start up, shut down, mixing ink, preventative maintenance, quality checks, troubleshooting, production pace, meeting tight deadlines, and production goals.

What you will do:

  • Setting up jobs in computer to print, along with being able to manipulate the screen to bring it into register.
  • Have the ability to know when to reject a screen to cut downtime.
  • Mixing inks
  • Screen Making & Reclaiming (All operators need to know how to do these tasks.)
  • Start up and Shut-down printing presses by removing ink and paper; cleaning parts and components; returning paper and ink to stock
  • Ensures optimal press operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturer's instructions
  • Maintain clean & tidy workspace.
  • Be Highly Organized and Self-Motivated.
  • Work long hours on feet or actively moving around.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Perform tasks by following instructions and adhere to all safety rules without exception.
  • Effectively communicate with all team members and supervisors.

What you will have:

  • Have clear and good vision to see print quality, colors and registration.
  • Have good touch and feel.
  • Screen making and reclaiming experience of 1 years preferred.
  • Screen printing experience of 1 years preferred.
  • Previous experience working with an automatic or semi automatic a plus (M&R, Tas or Sakurai).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Authorized to work in the USA.
  • This job requires travel to Los Angeles for initial and ongoing job training.
