Doxim's next Lead Print Operator- Onsite Atlanta

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of print operators, assigning tasks, monitoring workloads, and providing guidance and training as necessary. 
  • Set up and operate various printing presses and equipment, such as digital printers, offset presses, or screen printers, to produce printed materials. 
  • Monitor the production process to ensure that print quality, color accuracy, and other specifications meet company standards. 
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal printing performance. 
  • Maintain an organized inventory of printing supplies, materials, and inks, and reorder as needed.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure that final products meet client specifications and internal quality standards. 
  • Collaborate with designers, prepress technicians, and other departments to ensure accurate file preparation and seamless project execution. 
  • Coordinate print schedules and prioritize jobs based on deadlines, complexity, and resource availability. 
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to printing equipment, such as paper jams, registration problems, and color calibration. 
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration, to keep equipment in optimal working condition
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while operating printing equipment and handling chemicals, inks, and other materials. 
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste disposal procedures for printing-related materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Complete Machine training – Level 3

System Knowledge

Proven experience as a print operator, with a strong understanding of different printing techniques and equipment.

Recommended Years of Experience
• 4+ years in print production, mail operations, customer communications, or

• Prior informal leadership, shift lead, or team lead experience strongly preferred.
