Requirements

What You Will Do

As a Digital Print Operator, you will learn how to run professional print equipment, manage jobs from setup to completion, and build the skills needed to troubleshoot and keep production running smoothly. You will be part of the team that brings each customer’s vision to life through quality work, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things right.

  • Operate digital print equipment to produce custom printed materials
  • Set up and monitor print jobs while following detailed instructions
  • Use basic software tools to prepare and check print files
  • Load paper, restock materials, and complete routine maintenance tasks
  • Check printed items for accuracy and quality
  • Learn about different paper types, file specifications, and job requirements
  • Help deliver professional products that support our customers’ marketing and business goals
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Time management and work ethic – Stay on schedule and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Attention to detail – Spot differences in color, alignment, and image quality to ensure accurate, high-quality results (color accuracy test required)
  • Ability to follow instructions – Work efficiently within structured procedures and production guidelines
  • Problem-solving skills – Apply logic and reasoning to troubleshoot issues independently
  • Basic computer skills – Work with digital files, set up jobs on production software, and monitor output on digital presses to ensure it meets specifications
  • Basic math and measuring skills – Use precision when setting up jobs and performing quality checks
  • Reliability – Good attendance and reliable transportation are essential; punctuality is expected
  • Physical readiness – Lift up to 75 lbs to restock materials like toner, fusers, and paper
Additional Requirements
  • Overnight Schedule (Sunday-Thursday, 10:30 pm-7:00 am): This role is best suited for someone who has worked overnight or late shifts before and is comfortable staying alert and productive during non-traditional hours.
  • Training period – All training is paid time and an adjusted training schedule may be required.
  • Assessment – Online basic skills assessment required for consideration
  • Pre-employment screening – Must pass a drug screen and background check
  • Education – High school diploma or equivalent required
