Job Description
  • Quoting & Production Planning: This role prepares accurate quotes based on press layout, printing method, colors, label size, materials, tooling, finishing requirements, and quantities, entering and following up on quotes in the company's ERP system. It also creates and reviews job tickets and production plans, confirming that specifications, files, materials, tooling, and instructions are complete before jobs are released to production.

  • Job Scheduling: The position assists with building daily and weekly schedules based on customer due dates, equipment capabilities, material availability, finishing and shipping needs, capacity, and efficiency, while monitoring job status and helping adjust priorities for equipment downtime, rush orders, material delays, or other production changes. • Inventory Ordering: This role purchases, tracks, and maintains paper, film, inks, tooling, and other production materials, working with suppliers on availability, lead times, delivery, and quality concerns. It also maintains raw material, tooling, stock label, and finished-goods inventories, creating jobs and purchase orders as needed.

  • Process Improvement & Team Support: The position helps identify efficient layouts, press assignments, job combinations, and production sequences that improve workflow and reduce waste or downtime. It also involves participating in production meetings, planning sessions, inventory reviews, and continuous-improvement efforts, plus providing backup support for other Production Planning functions and special projects as needed.

    • DEDICATION: Do what it takes. You do what's best for the team, not just you. Start answers with yes instead of no.

    • AUTHENTICITY: Make decisions when no one is watching as if everyone is. Humble approach. Bad news is better than no news. Integrity trumps profit. Willingness to Grow.
