Salary: $35-$38
Shift: 1st Shift- 5am-3pm - four 10 hour shifts
Equipment: Heidelberg 102 & 106 XL
Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain Heidelberg XL105/106 offset printing presses
  • Perform press make-readies, including plate mounting, ink adjustments, and registration alignment
  • Monitor print quality throughout production runs, making necessary adjustments to maintain consistency
  • Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure optimal press performance
  • Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to ensure seamless workflow
  • Maintain accurate production records and quality control documentation
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Troubleshoot press issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance or supervisory staff

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating Heidelberg XL105 or XL106 presses
  • Strong understanding of offset printing processes, color theory, and press mechanics
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets, proofs, and production schedules
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in print production preferred
