We are looking for a Ink Manufacturing Lead to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the SR. Manager, Ink Manufacturing and based in Freemont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining ink manufacturing activities while ensuring that they are performed in a safe manner and in accordance with EHS policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all quality requirements are met and that all team members are adhering to these requirements daily
  • Create, document, and sustain standardized work practices
  • Train and mentor technical team members using a hands-on approach to ensure the team members are able to learn the techniques required to troubleshoot
  • Report and attendance, quality, or performance issues to the Supervisor.
  • Responsible for running the ink team from a process standpoint and communicating issues with the supervisor/manager as required.
  • Create, document, and sustain standardized work practices
  • Safely handle chemicals and materials
  • Manufacture various inks and pastes
  • Use printing machines as needed
  • Run quality inspection equipment
  • Perform equipment set up / change-over / low level maintenance
  • Assist in development of manufacturing procedures to create the most efficient processes
  • Record, maintain and report quality, inventory and production data
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervision

Skills and Experience:

  • BS in Science or Engineering or AS with 2 years lab or manufacturing experience
  • Experience with safely handling chemicals and materials preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Quality Assurance equipment like viscometers, balances, etc
  • Excellent computer skills: Microsoft excel is a must
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in team environment
  • Able to troubleshoot chemical lab equipment
  • Able to timely and accurately complete tasks with minimum supervision
