Sales Executive – Folding Cartons & Commercial Print

Location: Minnesota
Compensation: Base Salary + Commission (10% of Net Sales)

Position Overview

A growing Minnesota-based printing and packaging company is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive new business growth. This role is ideal for a true hunter who thrives on developing new accounts, building long-term relationships, and expanding market share within the folding carton and commercial print industries.

The successful candidate will bring an established network of customers and a proven track record of generating significant annual sales revenue. This position focuses heavily on new business development while also maintaining and growing key accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout targeted markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brand owners, packaging buyers, and commercial print customers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through closing and account growth.
  • Work closely with estimating, customer service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to expand market share.
  • Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and consistently achieve sales goals.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous sales experience within folding cartons, packaging, offset printing, or commercial print.
  • Demonstrated success selling cartons, POP displays, packaging, or related printed products.
  • Existing book of business and customer relationships.
  • Proven ability to generate and manage $1M+ in annual sales revenue.
  • Strong understanding of offset printing and packaging manufacturing processes.
  • Experience selling into consumer products, retail packaging, or commercial print markets is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for winning new business.
