Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Print Manager to oversee and lead the daily operations of a fast-paced digital print department. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality printed materials while maintaining productivity, workflow efficiency, equipment performance, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of digital printing technologies, color management, print production processes, and the ability to motivate and develop teams in a manufacturing or graphics environment.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the digital print department and ensure production goals are achieved
  • Lead, train, mentor, and manage digital print operators and production staff
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time
  • Monitor workflow and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency and resource utilization
  • Ensure printed materials meet quality standards, customer expectations, and color accuracy requirements
  • Troubleshoot print production issues and coordinate solutions to minimize downtime
  • Ensure digital print equipment is properly maintained and coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance when necessary
  • Monitor and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with customer service, design, production, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Track department metrics and identify opportunities for operational improvements
  • Manage inventory levels of paper, inks, and other production materials
  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and operational standards


Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience within digital print, printing, graphics, OR manufacturing environments
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of digital printing technologies and production workflows
  • Knowledge of color management and quality control standards
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with print management systems and related software


Preferred:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Print Technology, Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred
  • Experience with pre-press processes and print production software
