Job description

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of designated projects including schedule, procurement, subcontracting, and reporting
  • Ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
  • Understand construction processes thoroughly, including submittal and RFI management,
  • Understand construction finance thoroughly, including budget management, invoicing, cash flow, and profit projections
  • Exhibit excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Manage diverse teams and stakeholders effectively
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong skills in leading and communicating with project teams, including the ability to communicate clearly to groups of people.
  • Excellent ability to organize and manage time to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Proficient in using project management tools.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Skilled in resolving conflicts promptly to maintain project momentum and team morale.
  • Keen attention to detail for managing complex construction projects.
  • A positive attitude aimed at the relentless pursuit of solutions to resolve various challenges.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Construction Management degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in construction project management.
  • BIM experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Primavera P6, and Building Connected is preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience in industrial, food manufacturing, and / or cold storage construction is beneficial.
Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to travel regularly to attend meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Travel expected to be at least twice per month to project jobsites.
  • Ability to relocate to be onsite full time is beneficial, if applicable.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance during business trips.
  • Compliance with company travel policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to climb flights of stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to use a computer, phone, iPad, printer, scanner, and other office equipment.
  • Visual acuity for detailed work and computer use
