ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Print Finisher Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for leading and executing high-quality finishing operations that ensure every project meets customer expectations and company standards. The ideal candidate has extensive bindery and finishing experience, strong technical skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

ยท Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot finishing equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, binders, and laminators

ยท Review job tickets and ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time

ยท Perform quality control checks on finished products

ยท Train and mentor junior finishing technicians

ยท Monitor finishing supply inventory and coordinate replenishment needs

ยท Maintain equipment performance through preventative maintenance and basic repairs

ยท Collaborate with production, design, and press teams to ensure project success

ยท Promote workplace safety and maintain a safety-first environment

ยท Support production goals, productivity standards, and customer requirements

ยท Work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production deadlines


Requirements:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

ยท High School Diploma or GED

ยท 3-5 years of print finishing or bindery experience, preferably in perfect-bound book production

ยท Strong knowledge of commercial print finishing equipment and processes

ยท Experience with Horizon BQ470 and Challenger CMT130 is a plus

ยท Ability to read job tickets, schedules, purchase orders, and production documents

ยท Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

ยท Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

ยท Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

ยท Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
