We are looking for a skilled 3D Designer and AI Specialist to join a manufacturing team in Colorado. This position focuses on developing custom mannequins and related products that reflect client branding, meet practical use requirements, and support production goals. The role blends advanced digital artistry with AI-enabled workflows to speed concept exploration, improve visualization, and deliver refined, manufacturable designs.


Responsibilities:

• Build detailed 3D models and sculpted forms using industry-standard design software and AI-assisted tools to improve speed and creative output.

• Apply strong knowledge of human proportions and anatomy to produce realistic, balanced, and functional designs suited for retail display use.

• Translate creative direction into visually compelling concepts that align with brand identity, modern styling, and customer expectations.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to refine designs for 3D printing and manufacturing, ensuring finished products support quality, durability, and garment presentation needs.

• Research emerging AI capabilities and test new methods that can strengthen modeling, rendering, presentation, and overall design efficiency.

• Create high-quality renderings and visual assets for internal reviews and client-facing presentations, including product and environment visualization.

• Manage several assignments at once while staying organized, responding to changing priorities, and meeting project timelines in a fast-paced setting.

• Perform careful self-review on models, files, and outputs to confirm accuracy, completeness, and readiness before final submission.

• Maintain clear and logical file organization so assets remain accessible, consistent, and easy for team members to use.

• Develop design solutions with the end customer in mind, balancing aesthetics, usability, and retail application requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in 3D design, digital sculpting, product design, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a 3D artist, 3D designer, or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency with ZBrush, Autodesk Maya, and 3ds Max.
• Strong capability in 3D modeling, rendering, texturing, and digital form development.
• Experience using AI tools or AI-driven workflows to support design ideation, variation development, or process improvement.
• Working knowledge of 3D printing considerations and manufacturing-friendly design practices.
