Job description

As a Fast Horse Design Intern, you will help set the creative tone for our campaigns by crafting stunning visuals across all media and contributing ideas across all disciplines. You will have the opportunity to work with world-class brands, innovative startups, and impactful non-profits. Things move quickly here, so the ideal candidate must be a fast thinker who can juggle multiple priorities and adapt their design style to meet diverse client objectives.
The Design Intern will:
  • Participate in brainstorms and bring fresh thinking to originate new ideas and build on existing ones.
  • Takes strategic insights, cultural truths, and small nuggets of ideas and expands upon them bringing multiple angles and iterations.
  • Assist in creating design solutions for print and digital platforms that align with client brand standards.
  • Observe and participate in internal creative reviews and potentially attend client presentations.
  • Partner with the rest of the Fast Horse team to ensure that our high standard of quality and service is maintained; deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Help prepare production-ready files and assets for web and social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the social media team to create engaging content for Fast Horse's own channels.
  • Be responsible for refining and finalizing decks, production files, social copy, and other creative assets.

Education/Experience:
  • A graduate of a four-year graphic design or communication arts program.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Internship Details:
  • Three-month internship, which can be extended another three months depending on business and individual performance.
  • 32 hours per week (M-Th)
  • Hybrid - Mondays remote
  • $20 per hour
