Production Manager
Location: Raleigh, NC
Shift: 1ST - 7AM to 4PM, Monday - Friday, MUST BE FLEXIBLE FOR OVERTIME
Salary: $80K - $90K

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead our production operations, support our employees, and ensure that our manufacturing processes run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with people, solving operational challenges, and improving production performance. If you have a strong background in print manufacturing and enjoy leading teams in a hands-on environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities as a Production Manager
  • Working with the pre-production team to assist with job planning, scheduling, and production cost considerations.
  • Monitoring production runs and quickly identifying or resolving issues to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Leading ongoing efforts to reduce waste and improve overall production performance.
  • Evaluating operator productivity and product quality on a regular basis.
  • Staying current with industry practices and machine technology to support continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the accuracy and reliability of the shop floor data collection system.
  • Securing funding for strategic equipment improvements and maintenance projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
  • Investigating workplace injuries or safety incidents and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Working closely with the General Manager and Human Resources to promote a strong culture of workplace safety.
  • Assisting with employee training and development to meet production needs.
  • Supporting additional operational needs as assigned by leadership.
-This role includes direct leadership of the production team. You will:
  • Motivate and guide employees to achieve performance and quality goals.
  • Provide direct supervision for production staff.
  • Monitor team productivity and workflow.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to help employees succeed.

  • At least 10 years of print production management experience

  • Familiarity with flexographic and digital printing
  • Experience in label manufacturing
  • Pre-production experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
