Course Coordinator: Eber Beck
Purpose of the Job:
Teaching Assistants (TAs) will assist course coordinator with teaching course content, especially in neuroanatomy labs. Tasks may include: 1) participating in small group discussion and/or anatomy demonstration during labs, 2) independently supervising open labs (frequency and scheduling to be determined), 3) cleaning and maintaining lab space, lab tools, and neuroanatomic specimens and models, 4) assisting with setting up, proctoring, and grading lab practical exams, 5) helping with supplementary lab modules (Anatomage table, virtual reality, 3D printing, etc.), and 6) helping grade written assignments, as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
DPT III student with interest in neuroscience, in good academic standing, who shows effective verbal communication skills, punctuality, proactivity and initiative, self-motivation, and strong interest in helping students learn about neuroscience and neuroanatomy.
Dates: Fall 2026 semester (8/24/2026 - 12/10/2029)
Course Needs:
At least two teaching assistants (TAs) in each lab section, which can be split between 2-6 students (for example: 2 TAs for all 3 sections [10:00-11:50 AM and 1:00-4:50 PM], or 6 TAs total, 2 for each section).
Section times
- Wednesdays, 10:00-11:50 AM
- Wednesdays, 1:00-2:50 PM
- Wednesdays, 3:00-4:50 PM
Working hours will fluctuate between 0 to 4 hours per week depending on multiple factors (e.g., need for TAs in some labs, open lab demand [busier days before practical exams], practical exam weeks [time for pinning, proctoring and grading], etc.). In general, TAs will work 3hr/week (instructional lab time + open lab AND/OR other tasks). Open lab times to be determined. Course coordinator reserves the right to choose how to split workload between 2 to 6 TAs.

Course Coordinator: Kimber Kurr
Start Date: Fall semester but heavier responsibilities in the middle to end of the semester. Most of the work has flexible timing. Labs are on Mondays but prep work can be done Friday or over the weekend.
Purpose of the job: Assist with coordinating and transporting pediatric equipment from OT department and vendor prior to pediatric equipment lab. Assist in setup and cleanup of off campus experience at Racker. Occasional other lab setup or printing of documents. Hold open labs the last 4 weeks of the semester.
Requirements/Qualifications: Student in good academic standing, any cohort
Course Needs:
-Assistance prior to pediatric equipment lab with transporting equipment to/from vender's vehicle to lab storage room and from OT department.

-Run open labs around available times for DPT III students, 2x/week for 2 hours last 4 weeks of the semester.
