Reports To: IT Infrastructure Manager / Office of Information Technology Director
Position Summary
The Student Worker - IT Help Desk Support will assist the Office of Information Technology with day-to-day operations that support students, faculty, and staff. This entry-level position provides basic technical and customer service support, including ID card services, password resets, computer lab oversight, and printing assistance.
Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line support for the IT Help Desk.
  • Assist students, faculty, and staff with:
    • Printing campus ID cards.
    • Resetting account and password access.
    • Managing the use of the campus computer lab.
    • Troubleshooting and supporting printing services.
  • Monitor and enforce proper use of computer labs and equipment.
  • Document and escalate technical issues to full-time IT staff when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace in the computer lab and help desk area.
  • Support other Office of Information Technology projects and tasks as assigned.

Work Schedule
  • Flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules.
  • May include evening or weekend shifts, depending on the lab's and help desk's needs.

Compensation
