To thrive as a Print Lab Assistant, you need a basic understanding of print production processes, attention to detail, and familiarity with common printing materials and techniques, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with digital printing equipment, graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite, and print management systems is typically important. Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment help set exceptional Print Lab Assistants apart.
