The Assistant Designer collaborates with and supports the Designer(s) for assigned product categories, helping create collections that align with The Beaufort Bonnet Company's brand vision and target market. This role assists in the design and development of apparel that reflects seasonal direction while maintaining the signature T.B.B.C. aesthetic.
  • Assist designer(s) with all aspects of the design process to meet deadlines and maintain the seasonal calendar.
  • Communicate design aesthetics, product details, and feedback with cross-functional partners and overseas vendors in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Support CAD development for assigned product categories.
  • Prepare line sheets, sketches, construction details, and bills of materials for tech pack development.
  • Assist in presenting seasonal product lines to cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain organized records and files of submits, lab dips, and other development materials.
  • Conduct market research to stay current on industry trends and create inspiration/style boards based on findings.
  • Assist designers with print design development.
