We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Principal Engineer, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, supporting the Apertures and RF Team at Raytheon, an RTX business. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary hardware team responsible for technical subcontract management, requirement analysis, trade studies, design reviews, development, testing, fielding/hardware refresh, integration, and operational support. You will play a key role in managing RF hardware subcontracts while contributing to satellite ground terminal architecture and system performance. The work is on-site in Aurora, CO.

What You Will Do

• Lead technical subcontract management for RF hardware projects
• Develop and manage resource-loaded schedules, performance reporting, and contract baseline changes
• Provide briefings to program leadership and customers on status, risks, and performance
• Support design and architecture of satellite ground terminal hardware systems
• Conduct requirement analysis, trade studies, and design reviews
• Interface with suppliers and manage procurement activities, including purchase orders and vendor coordination
• Support integration, testing, fielding, and hardware refresh efforts
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and program requirements
• Travel up to 25% as required

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience with satellite ground station architecture and design, Experience with antenna system requirements and performance metrics (e.g., G/T, EIRP) and maintenance activities
• Experience with supply chain and procurement processes, including supplier interface and purchase order management
• Experience with SAP/PRISM or similar enterprise systems, Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) and contract types (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.) Ability to obtain EVMS and TSM certifications within 6 months of hire

Qualifications We Prefer

• Understanding of reflector systems, antenna feed design, solid-state amplifiers, and high-power tube amplifier technologies

• Experience performing trade studies, recommending solutions, and identifying vendors
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and customer focus
• Experience analyzing cost and pricing data and ensuring proposal compliance
• Experience interpreting technical requirements, including Statements of Work (SOW)

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
