You will play a key role connecting Lonza, our customers, and patients. As a Principal Program Manager, you will ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

The IT Solution Architect plays a critical role in driving the IT architecture within the A2D stream, that integrate with S/4HANA to optimize business processes.

What you will do:

System Design and Architecture

  • Act as a subject matter expert, expert for the future SAP solution in revenue and cost controlling, assuring compliance with the OneLonza strategy and scalability.

  • Collaborate with business teams to understand business processes and challenges, providing thought leadership on how SAP solutions can optimize these processes in the context of a business transformation.

  • Drive the adoption of SAP best practices and industry standards within the organization's transformation journey

Integration and Process Design

  • Lead the design and implementation of integrated solutions within the SAP landscape, ensuring seamless data flow and user experience.

  • Define and document detailed process flows, functional specifications, and interface requirements the stream related processes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with other GPOs, business users and stream members to understand requirements and review business flows with aim of optimization and innovation.

  • Keep informed of business-critical project outside Nexus S4 to capture business value gain in the new solution and avoiding possible conflicts.

  • Review and verify prototypes with site stakeholders and enabling functions, identifying area of improvement.

  • Translate business requirements into system solutions being able to effectively communicate with both business and IT stakeholders.

Customization & Configuration

  • Oversee SAP configuration, ensuring the solutions are tailored to meet business requirements.

  • Guide the technical team in the customization and development of enhancements and custom reports.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure that S/4HANA adhere to compliance standards (GMP) and security protocols, mitigating financial and operational risks.

  • Support interim phases to guarantee business continuity

Change Management & Training

  • Support change management efforts by preparing the organization for system and process changes.

  • Provide leadership in developing training materials and delivering end-user training.

What we are looking for:

  • Master's Degree in IT architecture, with a strong focus for related stream systems with ERP platforms, or related field

  • 10+ years IT architecture, with a strong focus on stream related processes systems with ERP platforms.

  • Proven experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation, with a focus on the respective workstream processes.

  • Strong understanding of Stream related processes.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the areas of the stream related processes.

  • Experience with process mapping, data migration, and system configuration within SAP environments.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Will require travel depending on project needs: 1st year min. 5-6 times for a duration of 2-3 weeks, less in 2nd year but still regularly

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
