About Morse Micro:

Morse Micro is at the forefront of next-generation Wi-Fi technology, delivering breakthrough solutions that redefine wireless connectivity. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Product Manager to lead our product strategy and drive our growth.

Position Overview:

As Principal Product Manager at Morse Micro, you will be responsible for developing, communicating and executing the product vision and strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful specification, development and launch of our products. Your role will encompass creating and managing product roadmaps, overseeing product management processes and conducting market research to inform product decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product Roadmap:

    • Working closely with the revenue and engineering organizations, develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's goals.

    • Initiate and maintain product roadmaps that outline the development and release of new products and features.

    • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, FAEs and other customer-facing support roles to ensure alignment and successful definition and delivery of the product roadmap.

    • Author foundational PRDs/MRDs that define competitive performance thresholds and feature sets for our wireless MCUs.

    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting the product roadmap accordingly.


  2. Pricing Strategy:

    • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue and market share while ensuring competitiveness.

    • Conduct pricing analysis and market research to determine optimal pricing structures for new and existing products.

    • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to evaluate pricing models and adjust as necessary based on market feedback and financial performance.


  3. Datasheets and Technical Documentation:

    • Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive datasheets and technical documentation for all products.

    • Ensure datasheets are accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicate product features, specifications, and benefits to customers and partners.

    • Work closely with engineering and marketing teams to gather necessary technical information and ensure consistency in documentation.


  4. Product Development:

    • Works with marketing to define go-to-market strategies and product positioning.

    • Collaborates with communications to ensure accurate product messaging, launches etc.

    • Work across the organization (engineering, project management, marketing) to deliver successful products to market.

    • Oversee the product development process from idea to launch, ensuring products meet time, budget and quality requirements.

    • Communicate tradeoff to the developments team, manage scope change.

    • Manage prioritization of feature and support request for product in development, based on customer needs market research, company goals and available resourcing.

    • Drive and communicate consensus on product decisions, in collaboration with all stakeholders.

    • Work with the project management team to track, monitor and report product success.


  5. Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points. Work alongside sales and engineering organizations to derive customer requirements and feed back into product planning.

    • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to inform product development and positioning.

    • Utilize customer feedback, sales data, and other sources of information to make data-driven decisions and prioritize product initiatives.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in product management experience

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technology products.

  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and market research techniques.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
