As a Software Engineer Principal within PNC's Capital Markets Derivatives organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Denver, CO, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX.
Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
Facilitates complex problem resolution.
Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
Ability/Desire to gain knowledge of Capital Markets and Derivatives products.
Ability to effectively communicate with the Business on issues and improvements.
Ability / Desire to find innovative technology solutions to solve business problems.
Technical Skills:
Java (web and core), Angular, Spring Boot
SQL (Oracle)

Capital Markets Experience / Knowledge (highly desirable but not requires) :
Derivatives product Asset classes: Rates, Foreign Exchange, Commodities (Energy) , Credit
Derivative sensitivity measures: Delta, Vega, Gamma, DV01, Theta, VaR, etc.
Experience with 3rd party trading systems - Murex, Calypso, etc.
